German Diving School after CMAS / SSI

A BoaYou can find the largest selection of corals in the Caribbean on Roatan’s reefs. In Roatan you can dive in crystal clear warm Caribbean water, surrounded by spectacular and colourful steep walls, overgrown with soft, fan, whip and bush corals.Beautiful gardens with multi-coloured sponges and hard corals of many different kinds await divers. Only a short distance away, you can find cracks, canyons, canals, eaves and caves. Visitors can explore mile long reefs. A multitude of big and small fish, such as dusky groupers, morays, dolphins, whale sharks, and even orcas can be seen. It is often possible to observe turtles and rays that soar by elegantly. Roatan’s reefs are so unbelievable that it takes months of diving on a daily basis to explore all the known highlights they have to offer.

Diving school – professionally managed  according to the CMAS / SSI guidelines:

• Diving courses, special Brevets up to professional level possible
• Teaching room, equipment rental
• Compressor room, neoprene-suit drying room
• 2 large freshwater pools, lockers
• 15 complete sets of equipment
• Aluminium and PTG Steel 10 litres, 12 litres, 15 litres, DIN/ INT
• Oxygen and emergency station
• Coltri compressor
• Charging facility for lamps and cameras

                            

Diving is done in small groups

Diving boats:

• Sportcraft 29 with cabin and inboard 350 HP
• Fibreglass boat outboard 120 HP, room for 10 divers
• Zodiac: Hardcase with centre console, outboard 30 HP
• Diving expeditions include boat,weights and tanks
• Tobri Divers is a member of the Marine Park Roatan
• The reef protection fee is $ 10 per diver and covers one year.

One of them is Tobri`s Dream.
Minutes away by boat from our dive center you`II find a unique paradise.
From the mooring at a depth 10 meters you will rech the spectacular reef within minutes
The wall starts at about 12 meters and goes on forever, the view breathtaking.
Here you`II find huge sea fans, hard and soft coral, large sponges and fan coral.
Schools of fish are waiting at cleaner stations, and sometimes a look into the blue can reveal something even bigger....

Garden of Eden
5 minutes by boat to "our" house reef.
Channels start at 6 meters along untouched coral gardens towards the wall, which starts at
14 meters. Mainly crawfish, moray eel, big groupers, barracudas and queen-angel fish.
The abundance of corals that provide shelter for a large variety of fish makes this dive site a treasure trove for  unter-water photographers.

Cara a cara
Face to face shark safari….this diving expedition will get your adrenalin pumping, surrounded by around 20 Caribbean reef sharks you dive to a reef at the edge of a plateau.
Maximum diving depth is 25 metres, southern side.
The divers are normally accompanied by Sergeo, the “shark-whisperer”

Sarah Kay – Mary’s Place
From the roof of the reef to the steep wall, dive into a magical labyrinth. A multitude of fish, large sponges, lobsters, turtles. Ideal for underwater photographers in the close-up range. Diving depth to 30 metres on the south-eastern side. Nearby is the legendary wreck ‘Prince Albert’, the ship that sank in 1985. Diving depth up to 20 metres, wonderfully overgrown. The wreck lies on a bed of sand.
